Over the weekend of the 17th-18th Mar, we held a set of dS development workshops at the Bristol Arnolfini. We’re pushing the dS project forward and starting to preparing for our show at the ICCI dome as part of the cultural Olympiad. 15 dancers auditioned on Saturday, and Laura Kriefman and myself selected five, with our first rehearsal taking place on the Sunday. Thanks to all that auditioned – it was really tough to select. If we had the cash, we would have taken all of you. here’s a few minutes of a video that’ll give you a taster of the sorts of things we got up to. My favorite part is what happens from about 1.30 onward, where we managed some amazing choreographic phrases exploring energy transfer… At one point you can see particles transferring between two of the dancers’ brains!
